We've chosen them for their successes and their track records. They are already making an impact - be it helping people get up out of poverty, or disease, or oppression; or saving our planet with energy solutions, new farming methods or reforestation. But they are also struggling, with minimal funding and resources.
Politicians are not going to remedy the world's ills, they have too many conflicted interests. The changes they are making are just too small and too slow.
